Printable Engineering Paper

Engineering paper uses a fine grid with a heavier line every fifth square, so you can sketch to scale and still read whole units at a glance. Traditional pads print the grid faintly on the back — work goes on the plain front and the grid shows through.

The default 1/10-inch grid with a bold 1/2-inch major line is the classic green engineering-pad layout. Print single-sided for a working front, or use it grid-side up for graphing.

To print: set the options above, then hit Print — the sheet fills a standard US Letter page at true scale, so a 1/4-inch square really measures 1/4 inch. To save a PDF instead: pick "Save as PDF" as the printer in the print dialog. Everything except the paper is stripped from the printout.
